Hi all,

I'm struggling with the SB1's at the moment.
Does anyone have any hints, tricks, or tips on getting them aligned properly before I tack them in to place?

Thanks!

Tack sb1x2 on the out sides and tack sb2 across the top on the outsides. Next tack d3+4 in place not forgeting to remove the extra bit. If you have the front frame in place and squared up it will realy help at this point. Making sure you have your build table level across it's width using a sprit level measure how vertical sb1 is and that sb is level as well. D3+4 determin how far sb1 leans back, measure diagonaly from the front frame to the opposite corner of sb1 and then compare the other diagonal, if you can get this measurment within 2-3mm you are doing well. It will help if you tack tempary braces between sb1 and br12 not fogeting that the runs need to sequence welded to counter act the pulling forces as the welds cool.

Perfect! Thanks Talon

That's the seat back sorted :D
I am indeed about 2-3mm out on the diagonal front-frame-to-SB1 check. I'm happy enough with that
Thanks again Talon!
