coilovers

Hi All,
got some coilovers if you could call them coilovers given to me ,seem to fit ok,bit rusty but will get them cleaned up ok, the problem i have is they seem to be off a jag,now they are 13"open and 9" closed but seem to be about 3"in diameter, all seems to go up and down super no leaks ,could these be used ok all advice welcome

Yeah should be ok if they don't leak but i bet the springs are way to heavy...just alter the pick up points to allow using shocks that are an inch too short.
