Hi all i have done a search but i cant seem to find any info on the size of the mock shock you all use. I dont suppose anyone has a drawing or knows the distance needed for holes in the 25mm box?

Consensus of opinion was 13" hole to hole when i did mine and it seems to sit about right

set height under front chassis at 4ins and rear at 5 1/2 and this will give you a good working height and make mocks to fit, length of 25x25.
At this length it works ok,at full 14 ins it gives no idea of proper height as this would be fully open with no compression.

Will give the 330mm ones a try and see how that goes. As for the height of the chassis from the ground im going to be using 18" wheels so the chassis will be a tad big higher than normal..... lol Just calculated the difference in ride height and the chassis will be 31mm taller than normal. So not that bad i guess.

On a chassis built to the book design, with the stock wheels and tires and the expected road clearance, do the lower wishbones end up being parallel to the ground, angled down or angled up?

I think they are roughly parallel to the ground on mine although i have dummy shocks fitted

On a car already on the road at the chassis heights given with 195/50/15 tyres they are roughly parralel.
Stock wheels are 13 in and do not fit the rear uprights as the lower fixing bolts hit the rim.

Thanks, my tires are 195/60/14 so should be near the same for me. My chassis is not exactly to Roadster spec, so this helps. I need to weld my upper shock mounts and I haven't yet ordered the coilovers.
My stock wheels are 5½J x 14", I have owned and parted out two donors, so I have 10 identical wheels. I am not in love with them but I am going to use them.
