its been lowered
its had a full jamex suspension set up
its got a trick exhaust and decat
its got s3 brakes and calipers and sticky pads
its got expensive Bridgstone tyres and nice wheels
it goes like stink
last weekend she took it back to r-tech
and let them play with it .........
the result after quite a bit of cash and a fair few mods
240bhp at the flywheel real
drove it today myself for the first time
Honestly that is one seriously sorted car i cannot describe how good it is
will somebody please make a bellhousing to fit a ford box to a VAG engine
that is cosworth performace for less than 1/4 of the money
i really want one for my car now what the f@@@ ash,s car will be like wih the turbo Saab i cant imagine he reckons it might go 300bhp
clean pants will be needed regularly

Spoke with Ross at Quicktime tonight. Our project of the SFI rated bellhousings to bolt any 4/5/6(no VR)/8 cyl VAG motor to any domestic trans is moving forward.

Funny you should mention that Les.
I was having a wander around my local breakers Friday morning.
The yard was full of Audis & remember thinking that they were looking nice motors for a build  :)
My mind started to wander in the direction of a rear engined Roadster ..... Had to get Junior to give me a slap :o
Found some nice goodies for my Jeep though :)

i still cant belive how well lou,s car goes
i know its a 20 valve 4 pot turbo
but in truth she has not spent a fortune on the motor
just improved the breathing in and out
altered/removed the pcv etc
different dump valve
a few other little tweaks
and a couple of sessions on the rollers with a stage 2 remap
and 240 bhp
stonkin from a 1.8
but what amazes me most is my granny could drive it until she pressed the loud pedal all the way to the floor

didn't the 924 have front engine/rear transaxle?
clutch on motor, drive shaft turning engine speed, gears in the rear?

you,re right wow nice stuff
but wow nice price + £725/1250 for a bgh gearbox
dont think i could sneak that past the missus ..lol
think that a homemade adapter plate would be more likely my style
think we,ll persevere with the zetec and worry about a vag unit
on the next project
cheers les g
