I drive a Volvo V40 T4 which is a T5 engine with one of the cylinders lopt off. It's a cracking engine and the car goes like stink. I personally think a T5 engine would be too much, trying to control all that torque would be a challenge, but obviously in a straight line it would have Lambo pace. I'd love to see it done though! I cant wait to see Eternals Skyline monster done either:)

Heh im looking forward to seeing it done too.
If i was starting again i would use a Volvo redblock engine (B230FT) that thing has loads of power and torque. Loads of them around and easy to work on.

There are some great engines, the problem is getting to get the gearboxes.
I had the same problem, but now gone for saab b204, still trying to locate the right box..

b230FT 1991+ 165 hp @ 4800, 195 lbft torque @ 3450 rpm. Thats at stock psi. I had a last eddition version of the engine with full forged internals from the factory and just with the boost being put to 16psi and a few other basic mods like intercooler and airfilter i was running 203hp

I went for the series 2 Toyota 3SGTE in my car - 165kw standard with lots of potential if needed.

I am using a Cortina 1600 GT motor. I had a couple sitting around. There will be 2 wires to the alternator, 1 to the distributor, temp sender, oil sender and 3 to the starter.

9 wires total. 10 hp per wire, works for me!
