Myself & my good lady wife were married on this very day way back in 1977

As the years have passed, I have slowly but surely, weaned her on to some of the sports I like to watch.

Now my wife is an avid watcher of the international Rugby, World cup football tournaments & will even sit down to watch a bit of cricket with me :)

Over the last few years she has become an avid F1 fan !!?? ( I can watch it but am easilly bored of it )

Well the Football world cup was bad enough .... What with her bleeding Vo Vo Godzilla or what ever it,s called.

This took the biscuit, woke me up at 5am Saturday morning to watch the Australian GP quali & again at 5am this morning for the race .... Blooming heck, that's 4am in old money

Now that's what I call payback !!??

Edit

Just noticed the wedding year, accidently typed 1997 instead of 1977 .... sorted now :-)

Where do all those years go ??

I stopped watching F1 when Murry Walker retired, it lost that special something of never knowing what he was going to say next as the racing was nearly always boring follow my leader don't upset the "red car" rubbish..

Bikes on the other hand, 200+ ponies maybe an inch of rubber on the track screaming for dear life and going out of shape, a dab of opposite lock steerage yet those loons keep the throttle nailed....no contest, F1 is pants by comparison all wrapped up in their playstation impact resistant tubs!!!!
Although I do like the noise and engineering behind F1:eek:

All the best Ronnie and well done,

cant beat the F1 though especially when you appreciate what they are doing to themselves throwing them cars round the track. Considering our cars we are lucky to be pulling 1g cornering and breaking and they are doing the same at 4 to 5g for upto 2 hours of racing. It is quite phenomenal.

All the brest.....Andrew
