Hello all,
It's been two years now since we last raced and have decided to either build two race cars or have them built for us.

Would anyone know if there are any Haynes budget cars racing and in what classes please?

Kind Regards
AS

Hi all,
To say I'm surprised is putting it mildly, does the lack of response indicate a closed shop or lack of knowledge?

Kind Regards

Welcome to the forum RC...don't know of many Race bred roadsters but Saturn Sports cars are in colaberation to build two race bred cars so Spud69 is your man and several peeps on here use their roadsters on the track. There can be one or two lulls on here but you will get a responce given time.

Hi AS & welcome to the forum :)

Saturn Sports Cars are currently developing / building a race car with a team based here in the North East, hopefully it,ll be on the track really soon, not sure which class it,ll be in as there have been some changes in the race class series, but it,ll be a very competitive car indeed.

What race series did you used to run in?

Enjoy the forum & we all look forward to hearing of your racing challenge.

cheers
andy

Welcome to the Forum AS,

The 2 cars are being put together along with Teamtrain Ltd based in Gateshead. They are being built around the Saturn / Haynes Roadster and are being put together with some components from a Ginetta G20. They will be ran in the NORTHERN SALOON & SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP organised by the Darlington and District Motor Club, below is a page with details and meetings:

Also a link to some build pics sofar:

Not sure where you are based though but even though there is no specific race series i am sure there is a local series which can be entered with the roadster car. A local motor club is the best place to start.

Hope that helps....Andrew

We'll be having a track day at Teesside soon to setup up the roadster, you're quite welcome to come along if you like.
