A quick question , does anybody know if Mondeo / Focus 15" steel wheels will fit OK over the rear drum uprights on the roadster. Got a chance of four brand new ones at a VG price.
Dave.

Twinturbo, Sorry, I don't know the year or exact model , just that they say they'll fit Mondeo/Focus/Escort. They aren't new, but look in VGC, maybe spare wheels or the like. I'll email em tomorrow, Thanks, Dave.

I find some of the online wheel fitting guides useful.

Quite a good one at Alloy wheels . com (http://www.alloywheels.com/)
All you need to do is enter the make, model & size

They have some tasty alloys too

Once you find out the source car for the steel wheels, compare the sizes with the sierra wheels.
Every chance that they are the same.

When you said spare wheels, I had visions of a Roadster fitted with a set of Space Savers :D :D
No idea why that popped into my head :o

I'm sure the Focus changed offset at some early point in its lifetime. At one point it has a massive 52mm offset, where as the Sierra is around 38mm. So something to watch out for. As this is going to change the track by an inch on the Roadster!

Thanks Bonzo for the link, seems the 93-00 Mondeo and 84-94 Sierra are exactly the same fittings, 4 x 108 PCD, O/S 35-45mm 63.4mmm bore and N12 x 1.5 threads.
Good idea to have space savers fitted on each corner, should be an interesting drive!
Cheers everybody, Dave.

Thats a great idea, I'm gonna get some space savers to put on my build so that I can get past it in the garage without tripping over it!
