Maybe a silly question but is there a IVA/legal need for a reverse gate..? ie does there have to be some sort of method ,be it push down lift up etc to engage revrse gear ? i ask this as my gearstick is very close to hitting my handbrake in 2nd and 4th ....thinking if i fabricate a gearstick with and offset i could get around this...but possibly might have to do away with the pin and spring (mt75) that needs lifted to engage reverse....what do ya think ....

ah-ha
i,ve seen pictures of the rubber mounted bracket that holds the gearlever
removed and a plate and rod-end used.
this can be done to alter the position of the gearlever and/or shorten the throw to give a quickshift.
for the life of me i cant remember where i have seen it ......
but try a search on lcb or perhaps google mt75 quickshift and see what comes up.
hope that helps
cheers les g
