A few people have thought about having an under car exhaust the only problem is lack of space. If you run a 45-60mm OD hot tube through the tranny tunel you'll heat the panels, the fuel line will most likly run through there as well which the IVA inspector won't like , the wiring loom needs some where to go too. Then theres the problem of ground clearance and the fact that you'll need alot of bends which won't be cheap either. There is a reason that the exhaust comes round the out side of the car and that is because it's the simplest way to do it. If you like the tractor look you could put risers through the bonnet and a collector box on top!

im toying with the idea of doing that because then i can use my standard manifold and just add a 90 degree bend to the downpipe. I have an exige rear splitter that i wanted to graft onto a grp rear tub and run the tail pipe through it.The reasons currently persuading me not to are, ground clearance,
heat under the car and exaust passing directly under the fuel tank, the work involved in modifying therear tub frame and a rear tub and the fact that i want to get my car on the road within the next decade!
Having said that, its definatly possible, it just looks like a lot of hard work, for a minor cosmetic improvement.

False floor on the passenger side was the concensus of opinion last time this was discussed.

westfield do an option for rear exit exhausts - doenst look too nice tho in my opinion.. lots of reduced floor clearance issues as it wont actually fit in the tunnel but just near to the prop

Have a look here

The cars are very much the same but I think the ride height is a lot higher
