Just fitted my nose cone and now I have found out the Nissan micra Radiator I've bought is too high by approx 30mm. Does anyone know the measurements of the others which are recommended i.e Polo etc ? I've had a measure up and it appears the maximum height I have availalbe is 500mm. Dont want to but two the wrong size !!

Regards

Rob

1992 to 2000 Honda Civic radiators are 18" (457mm) Height, 15" (381mm) Width (these are measurements off my actual radiator. Bottom of tank to top of rad cap)

One of the nice things about them is that performance upgrade rads for this model are cheap and plentiful. Like this one

Some even come with the fan assembly. I bought a really cheap standard radiator to start with, if I want a fancy one later it will bolt right in.

Aww bu99er - I've got a micra radiator too :(
I thought it looked a bit on the tall side when it arrived, but hoped it might just fit.
What's the height of yours? (on the off chance I've got a different year...)

My Micra rad approx 540mm tall, I have tried tilting it back but the main problem is at the bottom od the nose cone there is only roughly 90mm where you have the full height the cone then tapers in so its not possible to tilt much the filler cap is always to close to the cone. The other options look ok though especially those civic ones

I have this web page from a place here in NZ that I saved in my book marks from my last project

http://www.a1radiators.net.nz/index.cfm/products/index_new.html

It has heaps of dimensions from factory radiators and what make and models they can be found in - also the inlet/outlet configuration

Hope this can be of help for someone :)
