My wife Helen is signed up to do one of the "race for life" events that are organised up and down the country by tesco.

The 5km race is on the 5th of June and she is still collecting sponsors.

All the proceeds from the event go to cancer research UK who's only source of income is from donations by the public, this contributes towards understanding cancer and developing new life saving treatments.

If you would like to make a donation please get in touch as every little helps!

Thanks

My wifes doing it also in Aberystwyth, even though she'll be 7 months pregnant when she does it.

we would sponsor you, but if you then sponsored us it would cancel it out but all the best in taking part and well done.

All the best

I shall be sponsoring at least three local women for this so I'm sorry but I can't help. All the best to your wife though.

Best wishes to your wife for the run

Sorry, I'm already sponsoring 5 women from my family, as my mum is losing her battle with cancer. :(

Really sorry to hear that

It seems most people we ask are already sponsoring someone which is great, she already has a good few sponsors i only posted on here on the off chance she gets a few more as its such a worthy cause.
