The roadster build may slow due to some Wnker

Having to vent some anger here...my roadster build will slow to a virtual halt now for a few months due to some arse hole in a Ford Fiesta reversing into the side of my other pride and joy BMW ....It has been my dream car for years I saved hard to buy a 2 year old one in M spec ...So to make matters worse the wee prick wheel spun away giving me no chance to get a glimpse of his reg plate..Been to a good friend of mine who is a first class panel beater and the door is gubbed beyond repair...basically paying mates rates at cost price for parts its looking at 700 quid to repair....this is my roadster budget for bits for 7 months....Insurance has a 500 quid excess so i am not paying them so they can pay 200 and screw me silly for a few years ...gutted to say the least

Bad news mate, somebody did the same to my mrs Ka the other day, that pissed me off and the car is probably worth a tenth of yours. Guess its one of those situations where you just gotta "suck it in" so to speak. Either that or find the fecker and get medievil on his ass.

at least if you saw the colour and what car it was you can look around for the same car but with damage in the respectful places?

bit of a long shot but check to see if there are any CCTV cameras in the area where the bump happened either police ones in the street or even local business CCTV... just thinking you maybe able to get the plate of the clown that hit you?

CCTV is a non starter am afraid my Dad stays in a very quiet conservation village with only 2 small shops...the problem is now, even if I did find him he would deny it due to lack of witnesses ...so my only option would be a very high level of violence to the area on and around his kneecaps....on a more positive note i have found a company called FAB direct who specialise in the breaking of BM's ...He has a 2009 titanium silver door delivered to me for 180 quid...so i think i will take a gamble with it ..even if the paint may be slightly different it would give me some time to get the full side painted ....and may be able to still get the silicone pipework i require to get the roadster running longer...this year !!!
