Did you ever get your seats Geeman ??
I seem to remember that your build was coming along nicely :)
Such a pity that the hold up with the seats has caused a delay to your build :(

I've had to buy them elsewhere. I never recieved them from Mark even though i paid for them over two years ago. The car now is close enough to done, Just need to paint a few bits here and there and finally bolt on the front wings. I also need to check if my speedo works. I may do a nice interior as well. I have a full leather hide to use for it. I'm also trying to source another cvh and do a quick and easy swap. my current one has worn piston rings and there is too much blue smoke. Other than that i'm finally off to uni on 1st oct so it will definately be completed before then. I then hope to book my IVA for December when i'll be back on holiday.
I'll put some more pics up later, just dont seem to have taken many since last year.

Awww that's a real pity that you never got the seats that you paid for :(
Mark is on here most days, shame he wasn't man enough to sort them out for you !!
Could have at least re-funded your payment, at your tender young age, that is quite a bit of money to loose out of your budget
Let's hope he desn't continue this sort of practice now he is back in the body work business .
Somehow, I don't think you are the only one that never got the stuff they paid for !!
I live by the mantra " Name & shame "
On a brighter note.
Fantastic to hear that your build is nearly complete, very much looking forward to seeing some recent pictures
What have you decided to study at UNI ? , must be a very exiting time for you.
Keep up with the great work :)

Thats good to hear Geeman, about the progress, you've done well there. Sure speedo will be fine just make sure it reads slightly higher than a satnav and you'll be fine, as long as you are using the same circumference tyres as the sierra you'll be fine.
CVH engines are available, there are 2 on e-bay. The one below comes with box and you'll get your money back selling that on its own:

Well Done........AndyH

I'm off to Imperial to do Mechanical Engineering for 4 years. Can't wait to move out to south kensington on the 1st, although, i only live a 30 min train journey away from home so if I have to i can come home on weekends to do bits on the roadster. Couldn't be happier about uni, and im glad im living in South kensington, its a really nice area.:D

Wish that kind of oportunity was open to me when I left school.
South Kensington eh, nearly as good as Penzance .... I wish :D
Perhaps Mark will have his memory jogged & give you a refund, dare say you could do with the cash to help with your tuiton fees
Good luck with your degree, I am sure you'll soon be able to give me advice :)
Mark
Have a read of this thread & do the right thing by Geeman.

Congratulations on your placement. Makes a change to hear of someone doing a constructive course that might have some bearing on their future.
