OOOHHH

Drums that take the lobro shafts :)

What model did they come from Rob ?

I thought it was only the rear disk models that used the lobro shafts.

Nice find :)

2.0 GT 4x4,

If you asked anyone if that model existed you would probably be told no.. But at least one was built!

I guess it may have been a more common model on the continent.

It's ideal, it means I can swap in my LSD when the time comes :)

Cheers for that Rob :)

As they say, you live & learn.

Junior keeps banging on about replacing his car with a Saphire ( To be honest, I quite like em too )

Burning question is .... Where the heck am I going to find a mint'ish non XR/Cosy Saphire

The last thing I want is to be underneath a rust bucket every year welding

Juniors brief is 2 litre Pinto engined Saphire in White

Yeah, they are becomming harder to find,, them darn kit car boys are stealign them all for parts..

Good ones are still arround, check on the sierra forum as they come up for sale reasonably regular.

The 2.0 Ghia 4x4 is a good choice, although it does not have the pinto.

I have had a few DOHC's and they are quite a nice engine so long as the head gasket is not going... They are a rad under torqued for the 4x4 compared to the 2.9 but they are still fun.

Cheers for that Info Rob :)

Never thought of looking on the Sierra forum :o

Just got to keep one eye in the insurance ball, at 23 Junior will still have to pay a hefty premium with the wrong choice of car.

One good thing, got untill Feburary next year before he changes car & has a budget of 2 -2.5k

I guess if a real gem comes along, it could be put in storage till then.

You will get a belter for that, as long as it's nto a cosworth.

I know a guy on the forum with a wonderful XR4i which is less!!!

Insurance on sierras is usualy good for young uns..
