What has everyone used to cover the gap between the GRP side pannels and the internal ally pannels over the two chassis rails in the cockpit i.e between the scuttle and rear tub ? I have a slight gap where the GRP pannels wont push right over the chassis rails there is a 3 -4 mm gap.

If you mean on the side panels where you would get in and out, I was planing on using a carbon fibre chassis rail protector. Like this. (http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products/Carbon-Fibre-Kit-Car-Chassis-Rail-Protectors-(Pair)__CMCFCRPWST.aspx) I'm not 100% certain it will fit as I havn't checked measurements.

Rubber "P" or "U" shaped trim also or ally capping with countersunk rivets or cap screws

Hi Rob,

The sides can be tight especially when fitting over ali floor or sides, this trim from CBS can be very good and finishes off the edges nice plus you will need it for IVA:

Think something like Steve suggests would be the best option but a bit more expensive than I wanted, the Ally capping was what i was intending to use but I cant seem to find it anywhere i have tried all the obvious places B&Q ebay etc

Have a look at the stuff they use for joining carpets / tiles in doorways (threshold strip ) some of the tile warehouses have a good selection of profiles and will usually be cheaper than BQ;)
