6th September 2011, 11:25 AM
We've got a fair few builders coming along on Saturday to collect bodywork seconds so we've decided to have an end of summer BBQ, weather depending, and dish out some monkey burgers and grub plus some gentle rides round the estate in the roadster, should be able to get a few other cars here to.

Grub between 11 and 12 - all invited, been all while since we've had a good barbie day.

Cheers....AndyH

If you book in an MOT for HandyAndy at a local station we'll send him down in his roadster and just put a sign on his car saying "on way to MOT".

I'll just ring him and tell him Bonzo......:D

Sorry Baz, but HandyAndy put the thought into my head yesterday - so its his fault.

The monkey was found hanging by a rope on the Headland, somebody said it was a French spy come to nose in on the single seater - might as well make use of it.

More the better.....Shame Mark wont be here.....AndyH

Been thinking of making the journey up to Saturn and have a good look at the roadster and get some parts while there. This would have been a great time to come and meet some of you guys face 2 face. Unfortunately I am in Cardiff on a stag do! Getting too old for this, I find myself rather spending time in the garage! Is this normal?!

That's a shame Leroy, It's perfectly normal tough - you'll still have a bad head in the morning but it's for a much better cause and you'll end up with something much better......

Saying that i still do the other once a week.

Ha ha that right Andy!

I will hopefully be in the market for a steering rack with extensions and track rods, diff brackets and possibly some mushrooms!

That is I can stop spending on my tin top, just had 4 new tyres and now needs pads, fan belt and wheel bearing. Also a stepper motor for one of the heater controls, and they are £75+ on their own!

Thanks for coming along all that did, shame that some people had to work. As always its good to see builders and the weather was good Ronnie. A weekend trip away on the train might be a good plan, other half permitting.

The best bit of the day was to get the heart finally beating on the Single Seater, got a small oil leak but we'll soon sort that out. Can crack on with the build now we know it runs and sounds good. Will have to start it up each morning and night just to keep it sweet.....:D Thanks to Noel and Nathan for the help - will be worth a bit of cold shoulder Nathan.

All the Best....AndyH
