Does anyone have a spare bit of thick wall 15mm ID tube I can have/buy to extend my rally designs shaft?

I will have a look in the Garage tomorrow am, I should have a length left over long enough. I got about a metre or so from a Hydraulic Engineering Business I wasn't prepared to pay 75p + VAT an inch + delivery !!!!!.
I'll PM you the length and OD + ID, if you are still looking, Dave.

That would be great thanks, I'm not sure what length I need but the shaft is around 400 I think, maybe someone will know off of the top of their head?

James,
After raking around in the garage, I found a 53.5cm length of seamless tubing It has an 20.12mm outside diameter, 14.6mm inside diameter and wall thickness of 2.71mm approx ( measured with my cheapo digital calipers! )
It is the other bit left of the one metre length I bought, slightly longer than the bit I've used.
I slightly skimmed the smooth ends of the splined shaft so that the ends slid in nice and tight, although they would paper down with a bit of effort.
Let me know if you are interested, Dave.

Sorry RDodger, It's on it's way to James, but if your struggling try a Hydraulic engineering shop, they tend to use it more than general fabricators, Dave.
