I know most on here are using Sierra steering columns but has anyone used any others. The reason I ask is because I have had the offer of a triumph Spitfire column and am wondering if there is any reason stopping me from using this

its easier to use sierra but not everbody does,ive used pug 306 so all the controls are on n/s so you do not catch as you climb in ,horn also on same stalk,the problem with something different is there is not much help if you hit problems ,phil...

Thanks Phil, i think i will getit off him and see what i can do with it. The good thing is that the indicator arm is still with it and the ignition switch with two keys

make sure it is of a colapsable type for iva? :rolleyes:

Never thought of that. I will have to check that the leccy corsa column I am using has got that:o :o

What a bummer steering column is one solid piece so no good, back to the drawing board

There are things like this fitted to discoverys that have the sliding/collapsable thing built in

im pritty sure the upper section need to colapse for iva sierras do this where thw triangle tube fitts into the upper coloum
