Marco Simoncelli lost his life to moto gp today. Really sad as i think he had a lot to offer the sport and was showing signs of great things to come.Thoughts for his family and friends.

I like many had really been looking forward to his next few years in motogp. It was great to see someone who clearly didn't fit the current mould coming through to the front. I can't help but think it was fortunate that he probably knew nothing about it but feel for Edwards & Rossi who will probably need a good deal of support to deal with it. RIP

I was dumb struck as there I was sat watching it, then he went down and the race was stopped.
Damn fine racer with mad hair so obviously the lad had a cracking sense of humour too.

It was horrible to watch live as you could see straight away just how serious it was. Especially when his helmet was seen spinning down the road on its own.
RIP Marco
