View Full Version : Bit of a long shot....

I know this is a massive long shot but:
I don't suppose anyone has a spare near side front upper wishbone kicking about?! Between the shot blasters and the powdercoaters mine seems to have gone walkies  I'm really gutted as I was looking to get everything trial fitted this week/weekend.
Every stage so far seems to have had some hiccup, maybe I'm jinxed?!
On a positive note though, the offside brackets are all in the right place!
Cheers

Hi Ash
If you can't find an off the shelf solution, I could probably manage to make one up for you over the weekend.
I have a fair few spare bush tubes here & know I have some short pieces of CDS tube that are long enough for the job.
Still have my jig's to hand so would not take me long to fabricate a one off wishbone :)

Ahhhh thanks for the kind offer bonzo. This place is great - two positive responses in such a short period. Thanks to both you and spud.
However, not to worry anyone, the powdercoaters have found it!

You must be very relieved to hear that the Powder coaters have found your wishbone :)
I guess that will soon mean another huge milestone on your build .... Still remember the day I got mine rolling, it felt fantastic
Looking forward to spring so as I can crack on & get my build completed.
Never know, I might break the 5 year mark yet :D :o

Sorry for the break in service!
Yea, I really can't wait but if I'm honest I still have a few bits to do to finish the chassis. I just couldn't resist putting interesting bits on out of order, that and I need to make sure the suspension brackets are in the correct places as I bought the chassis mostly done and don't want to find any mistakes after making the chassis pretty with paint!

I'm hoping to be done by Easter as well.
