I have won a set of 6 gauges which includes an eps speedo. Was wondering if hall sensors are a good way to get the signal from gearbox to the unit. If so can anyone suggest where to get on from or what exactly I need? I am running a 1.8 cvh and type 9 gearbox.... Or will be eventually!
Cheers in advance

Lovely, thanks. Would that be a better option? I have read about a couple of different position sensors that can be used too. One counts position of bolts and one of magnets fixed on propshaft?

Thats the one that ive got although not at the point of fitting it or trying it yet.Probably better bet than magnets and you should be able to calibrate your speedo with the switches on the back of it to alter the pulses.
The one your on about is a proximity sensor(it will pick up bolt heads or magnets for a signal).Your choice really,i think the proximity sensors are more expensive though.

Brilliant, cheers for that.
The next thing I have found is that I need the appropriate senders for water temp and oil pressure. Anyone know if there is an easy place to fit these? Presuming I can replace the oe one in the thermostat housing but not sure what thread it is, and same goes for the oil pressure sender? Lots of presumptions but I take it the oe senders will not give the right signals?
Cheers
