mx5 project for sale, unfortunately have lost the workshop space and the willing volunteers due to a change of plans at the college where i work. The project was originally an extra curricular project working with disaffected students.
What's included is a part built handy andy chassis kit with all brackets for suspension etc. complete carefully stripped Mx5 donor including good 1.6 engine and box including id and photos to help with registration. Good strong build table and mounting blocks.
I have to clear the project so it it is available cheap if you can move it quickly £300 takes it away.
contact on 01670 827062 or message me here if interested.

hi david should probs make previous message clearer £250 and you get everything the whole car, engine ,box, wiring, seats ,wheels tyre, hubs, axle and drive shafts and loads of useful bits. none of the wiring was cut and most was labelled.
I drove the car for a week before breaking so happy that it's in decent shape, there's even a decent hood that could be sold on.
paid £350 for the car. get in touch 01670 827062

main frame complete but not much more, tunnel etc yet to do as I said front frame came already done by handy Andy, Saturn were just starting development on their mx5 roadster so I paid handy andy for a chassis kit but he held back on the items that would be slightly different for the mx5 and we agreed that he would supply these when they were happy the saturn roadster was right, these items would need to be chased up with andy but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. brackets for suspension etc included.
call on 01670 827062 can't get in this weekend but any day next week fine.

So is the chassis ok for a sierra build with the correct parts?
Is next weekend any good or is that too late?
Cheers

should be ok for sierra build as nothing that was modified for mx5 is fitted but you'll need to speak to handy andy for rest of chassis tubes next weekend should be ok

My apologies , my laptop has an issue so am having to use my android phone to view and post on the forum at the moment.
No problems about the remaining chassis tubes, as john has said, its all paid for so i will of course supply the remaing chassis tube parts to whoever purchases the kit, happy to supply the tranny tunnel bits for either the mx5 or for a type9 tunnel which gives the purchaser an option for the completion of the chassis.
Cheers Andy
