Iv got a focus st170 for my engine, I'm going to fitt motor bike bodies and fit another aftermarket ecu. Can I get rid of the imrc unit?

I would speak to the intended supplier of the aftermarket ecu and see what they recommend.

Im running megasquirt on a vauxhall engine and ive binned pretty much everything :-) bike bodies now fitted but nothings run yet !

No help i know but inlet manifold runner control unit ? If it does what the name implies that it controls air flow in the runners and your getting rid of the runners and the ecu that requires the input from said unit id say you wont need if but i dont know the ford engine or the ecu u plan to use ?
