Hello to all,
what do the chaps use on the throttle pedal to link the throttle cable to?

Kit spares do a useful little spigot thingy that fits to the pedal with a split pin, and let's you put the cable through.

my throttle cable had a nipple thingy me bob at the pedal end, so I removed the inner cable from its outer sheath, made a small "U" shaped bracket , so that I could drill a hole in it for the cable to be threaded thru ( but small enough so the nipple wouldn,t pass thru it ) & a larger hole on the sides so that i could use a pin & split pin to attach it to the pedal,

once threaded thru the pedal box bulkhead, replaced the outer sheath as normal , worked a treat :)

cheers

now thats the way i done mine but with mine it was rubbing on the bulkhead tube on the other side and was going to wear through so what i was thinking correct me if i do it wrong was to put a clevis pin on the pedal ,screw a 6mm rod into that, about 4" along the rod add another clevis pin and to that put on the cable nipple, what do you think? or am i going a bit too far with it .

I made a little bracket a bit like andy describes.

I need a better return spring though.
