Are any builders in the North East - Newcastle, Teesside etc are interested in getting together one evening a month somewhere (like a pub) to talk about builds etc. There doesn't seem to be many clubs to do with kit cars up here and it could be a good way of getting to know each other and to help discuss ideas and overcome any problems.

There is a hotel/pub on the roundabout on the road from the A1 west to Bishop Auckland and its sort of in the middle for Teeside and Newcastle/Durham.

Eden Arms Hotel.

I think whats wrong here is it simply has not been "plugged" enough we all know there are plenty of us NERDS up here and I think the only way is to have a list for peeps to say yay or nay at least a week in advance that way numbers are
known in advance instead of say 2 or 3 turning up at short notice.....so why not give it another week and lets have a list and if the thread needs "bumping" then so be it....but confirmations would be helpful for a definite day and a location......so whats the thoughts (and no procrastinating) :eek:

Must apologise to everyone and the wife for this post to be honest I never even asked her if she would be ok with us going that day but would rather spend the honeymoon with the wife rather than you lot

Lol the wife works out that way so makes sense for her to take the car and there is more money to spend on the build if we only paying to run 1 car

It was great to meet up with you guys last night,

It was quite funny .....I don,t think any of us recognised eachother, even tho I had met Kev before ( once when rushing around getting Ash,s car repaired ) , Kev was spot on in his comment....didn,t recognise you Andy, without the cap & looking clean :o :D

There appeared to be some sort of Ford owners club meeting at the pub too, & all we could think of was the 2 or 3 Sierra,s in the car park "Donors" we all thought :D

Lets hope we can make this a regular meet, & when we,ve all got our Roadsters on the road it,ll be good to have them all together :cool:
