anyone know if any other kits exhaust manifolds/4 branchs are sutable or tweekable to fit a roadster? im looking for minimal fuss

i had a tiger one but it was no good as body was too wide and cross brace was in the way :(

the gbs one is close but mr tapemesure says its too short to make it past the top rail i can get one without the flange fitted but thay have no stock

Baz

I used the gbs one fine, just needed to put 10mm plates under the engine mounts to raise the engine slightly, see the picky below of it fitted.

i was planing on making one from pre bent sections of stainless but the cost of all the bits didnt make it worth while realy compared to the cost of say a gbs one

good to hear the gbs ones are ok i was going to get one with the flange unwelded as the ends are trimed and flanged last and as it was advised it was the best option to me and common for them to supply unflanged

I got the GBS one. The height seems fine, but the runners need to be extended by 4 cm. Go figure! It had a "£175 inc Zetec Narrow" tag tied onto it.

Here are some detail piccies if you want to know what to expect: https://picasaweb.google.com/100881048868628458396/KitSparesHeader

GBS system inc cat fitted perfectly on the Teamtrain car with Saturn engine mounts for the Zetec.

OK, so GBS sell two kinds of manifolds: Narrow and GT (now both are available on their kitspares.co.uk web shop). GT is 4 cm wider and is a perfect fit for me. My crankshaft is 13 cm above the bottom of the chassis, as per book (bellhousing sticking out by 25 mm)
