RST Manifold

Just a heads up for anyone. I bought an rst exhaust manifold off ebay last night and the seller has another one to sell. :)

Price is a bit of a bargain by all accounts £15.00 +£8.99 postage seeing as most other ones seem to be £40+ :eek:

These manifolds make it so much easier to route the exhaust down pipe when using a CVH engine in the Roadster.

Nice find Russ.....you,re getting nearly as good as me for finding the bargains ........I say "nearly" :D as I managed to get my RS turbo manifold for 99p starting price :D

I got mine for about £20 all in from memory.

Took me a very short while to build my system once i had it.

Don't you worry about primaries length etc. ? Turbo manifolds are much shorter than N/A...

I'm asking because I think about making headers for my ZX-9R... and to make "inboard" exhaust system... like this: http://youtu.be/yDxkeSDYR4w

The main reason is.... LHD car + exhaust at left side of car = headache :p
So my exhaust should be "inboard" with exit on the right side or... "outboard" with silencer on the right.

If you look at the standard 1.8CVH manifold the primaries are very short on that anyway, and a bit unbalanced.

I think for most of us it will be a first fix anyway, get through IVA then decide on the future path to either a bigger engine or making up a tubular manifold.
