I,d like to apologise for my lack of contribution to the forum over the last few weeks.
A few of you know that I look after my mum, sadly in the last few weeks I have needed to focus all my time to her.

Sadly , my mum passed away peacefully yesterday.

As I,m sure you can imagine, things are a little emotional here , & I have alot to deal with in the next week or two as not only have I lost my mum , I,m also her next of kin so lots to deal with etc.

I hope you don,t mind me making this thread/post ( my sincere apologies if you do), but alot of members on here have met my mum & she thoroughly enjoyed meeting each & every one of you, & making the cups of coffee when we were talking all things "Roadster", she was a major inspiration of my Roadster build & always enjoyed hearing of the discussions of other peoples builds & this forum in general, so , thankyou guys, your builds gave her enjoyment & interest.

best regards
Andy

Sorry to hear that Andy, at least she is at peace now.

Take your time, sort your self out, recharge and come back and give us a shake up when your ready...

And always remember your welcome to pop over for bacon whenever you want (well as long as I am in ;) )

Bloody hell, sorry to hear that andy, thought she was back on the right road. I don't feel that you need to apologise for anything. I'm sure everyone here knows family comes first and nobody could blame you for putting the important things first.

You know where I am if you need help with anything. You only have to ask....

I,d like to thank you all for your kind words, on this post & by PM,s & emails too,
all of your kind words mean a great deal to me , more than I,m able to put down via a keyboard, so once again, Thanks guys .

The last few weeks have been a tough time, as I,m my mothers next of kin alot of things that needed dealing with became my responsibility, which has been harder than I first imagined, but, My mother would,ve been the first to say to me that now is the time for me to "get on with MY life " now , so, with that I can now say "I,m back ".

cheers

Time heals the anguish and grief Andy, I had the same thing with my father a few years ago and I now have a head full of fond memories. I sit and reflect daily and all I can think about are the good times we had and laugh:) Chin up

Thanks guys :)

Each day is starting to bring back a level of normality , yep, lots of fond memories that still bring a smile to my face....for example...

When I was a kid ( yes along time ago :p ) in our house there was 5 of us kids so you can imagine the mornings getting ready for school  ....well, my mother always ensured we always went to school with a clean shirt............................the collar was often wet but it WAS clean :D

Anyways, thanks for the welcome back guys, appreciated .

cheers

I effectively lost my mum when I was 10, 28 years ago. Not sure how I will take it when it really happens. I have few memories.
