You could always try getting a message to him via the publisher. I'm sure he'd appreciate a get well type message or positive comments about the Roadster as a hobby etc but complex questions about steering geometry or the thickness of chassis tube wouldnt really seem appropriate until such time as he is back in a condition where he can use a computer.

I concur, it has been quite awhile but the last time I had corresponded it was through his publisher. Though at that time his health was not an issue, well at least as far I was aware of.

Get well? Not in a condition where he can use a computer? I wasn't aware of that--I didn't know Chris had any health issues. This is not good news.

[edit-- Thanks for the link, will_08, I'll drop him a line though his publisher.]

Your missing the point here Andy, its a reference to the mars landing craft and the scientific findings being relayed back to earth. :) WTF

It's worth some thought -- all the people who were active on the forum and were chosen to be moderators lost interest in the forum for one reason or another soon after.

twinturbo has been offering his services as a moderator, has experience running forums, and looks to be here for the long haul, shopping for another chassis ;-)

Albert,

As I am one of the forum moderators I feel entitled to respond to your above comments ......

I think I qualify as being an ACTIVE forum member with 3929 posts prior to this post , having joined the forum only the month before your good self,

I,m sorry to see that your comment "lost interest" , if the death of my mother whom I have cared for for the last 5 yrs, although the last 18 months the care she needed turned into 24hrs 7 days per week,

If you feel that the death of my mother doesn,t warrant or justify in me taking some "time out" from the forum then I sincerely apologise to you for in your opinion having "Lost interest",

Rest assured , as a forum moderator I am well & truly back & will ensure I don,t lose interest again, as I AM here for the "long haul" too .

I'm sorry, I did not mean to offend you, especially given your current circumstances. I should have worded my thoughts more carefully and I apologise.

In all fairness, you had a loss in the family (please accept my sincere condolences) and excused yourself for some time, Chris and Ronnie are off the forum due to health issues, Ash has finished his build about two years ago, but still visits often, and Ginge decided to sell his project. These are all valid reasons, I'm not holding anything against you or anyone else.
