Hi chaps, yeah would be good to catch up. No chance of rushing out the garage the boss keeps me well in check! Haha!

But hope to do a bit before Xmas. Did a bit of grinding on my 'chopped' sump today, was like being reunited with an old friend, trusty angle grinder! :D

Well I have enroled at Yale tonight on a 2D cad course hopefully move on to the 3D later on. Hope to go around to the new workshop tomorrow night and start to do some of the wiring on the sockets and then in with lights before the guy comes around to levle out the floor. Once he has completed that it will be in with the lathe, parts washer, grit blaster, powder coating and oven. Oh and then the work benches, bench grinders and compressor. Done a deal with a guy today to buy his two tear old engine hoist from him for £60 so no more bad backs from lifting engines, getting a bit old for that now.

Wow, thats some workshop, would keep that quiet or you will be constantly doing favors! I would love a NC mill or lathe. Been looking at this for my roll cage:

Its a wrap.

Went for a spin up the road today.Naughty I know but it was very quiet and I couldn't resist it. Got into 3rd gear with a bit of speed up. But what a strange experience . I'm used to wind in the face ,wind noise etc with the bike but it was a wierd feeling looking down the bonnet, sitting so low and watching the wheels steer and spring on the bumps. Very strange , surreal.

Hehe, I've done about 50 km up and down the unnamed road that links my village with the nearest steet.

A question for anyone who has a Sierra speedo/instrument pod please.

My speedo needle is hanging downwards to 6 o clock. It should obviously be at zero but there is no stop pin and I cant find any sign of one that may have been snapped off at some time. I can easily drill a tiny hole and glue in a pin but I would just like to know what was there originally.:o
