I,ve used a sandwich plate to allow electrical oil pressure & oil temps senders to be fitted, tho I had a slight problem getting a reading at first.....the sandwich plate allows the fitting of 4 senders to be installed, I had my 2 senders fitted at the the lower part of the plate, I couldn,t understand why getting no readings, swapped the 2 senders & placed them into the upper part of the sandwich plate = problem solved...not sure why but it worked .

I,m running a 1.8 CVH engine

cheers

An adapter that fits between the oil filter and the engine.

2 Years approx. since I got started on my build .Going to compile a checklist of stuff that needs sorting out over the winter then IVA Spring 2013. Hopefully will do a few shakedown drives and tests( airfield ,private road)before that.

Just wondering how long others have been at it and who and how many are due to hit the road next year. I suspect that 2013 may see the birth of quite a few.

Advice please.

My mechanical fuel pump is U/S and its the non-repairable type(1.8 cvh)
Is there any reason why I cant use a motorcycle fuel pump(which I happen to have in the garage!;) )?
