Unlucky Ayjay,
Well at least it should be a breeze now to get it through..;)
Why did it fail on the suspension bkt and top harness eyes...
I'm guessing it's no different to anybody else's.

Gelcoat restorer

Can any of you GRP experts out there recommend a compound for restoring gelcoat with a rotary polisher please?

I've got an old Moss Malvern I am putting back together . The GRP is generally sound but very weathered and chalky . I've looked at Faracle but there are various grades:confused:

John Dickens' fiberglass book recommends asking Marine suppliers or Chandlers, and specifically mentions Farecla Marine Gel Coat Restorer and Farecla Marine Ultimage UV Wax.

Ayjay,

do you want to try the compound that I have its for paint work but it is very fine, you could always try it on a piece that wont be seen
