mine is definately an acceletator peddal and has got a foot rest most of the way down so I may chop the end off. This will allow me to move the pedal slightly further away and still get full cable movement at the engine end.

Looks like you have the adjustable column so you could always push the lever down and pull the steering wheel towards you?

Doh thought I had found an easy solution! Like the others said tho, it's only a guide, we all come in different shapes and sizes so just adjust bits to suit :)
