I wonder how it will work with adjustable column, but should be ok - it doesn't need too much move...

Sounds great - not sure all of them work like that - where did you get it from?! Is it available in UK as easily as Poland? :D

That one doesn't look like it can be angled in the mount though...?

I'm pretty sure it does, ill take mine out the bag and check later.

Like i said tonnes of peeps have spec'd that bearing for this job

Yes - "SLFL25 LDK Pressed Steel Flange Bearing" it's the same type of bearing. There are minor differences in insert bearings, but they are not important (like tube length etc.)

But - it wasn't so easily available in Poland - especially housing isn't popular. Everyone (except me) prefer cast iron housing for agricultural equipement...

But I wanted "lightweight" version ;) So for my special order... I got it.

Aint we a pair.

Although I can also confirm that the 25mm one doesn't fit the MX5 column... I would know that if I had read the Saturn guide properly that says to buy the 205-14 (7/8") one, or even measured my column.

Luckily I have some 1" bar stock that I can make a bush out of. :o

Looks like we have to specify what donor running gear parts fit ;)

So... to make it clear - mentioned earlier bearing fits Sierra steering column (with little bush turning or without modification).

Bumping this to the top rather than start a new thread.

I'm using a standard Sierra rubber bush to support my steering column - will this be good enough for IVA man?

I have also replaced the (worn) nylon collar that fits into the rubber bush, however it is a bit slack. Was thinking of turning up a PTFE collar with a retaining lip to take up the slack - again, ok for IVA man?

Cheers
