There isn't a design yet, but will be doing that part of the build in the next couple of weeks. When there is one, we will be posting it up here.

Are the Caterham scuttles that much lower ? I thought they were at about 10" in height at the side of the dashboard. Not a lot of difference with the Haynes scuttle ?

Well, maybe it's not the scuttle, but the chassis which is lower.

The rear is now fully installed. There is a dent in the alu in the right corner, but I don't think you will notice it when driving around.

Also started with making the dash. Maybe I'll make a mould of it first, to make a glass or carbon fibre one.

After almost 5 years of build...
The front arches need to be done, and some other things to, but we managed to get our car ready for a trackday last weekend.

Tis picture is for those who are still building:
DONT GIVE UP !!! ITS AN AMAZING FEELING WHEN YOU DRIVE YOUR HAYNES ROADSTER !!! :D :D :D

Congratulations for the car, it should be such a good feeling to drive it :) It looks very nice.
And good for you you drove it before doing the front wing stays, at least you had a moment of enjoyment before the hassle. I've been on my front wing stay for 3 days now, and still can't get them right
But hopefully, within one week, I'll have my first drive with a complete car too.
Keep on the good work, fellow left hand driver ;)

Hm, I put mine together without too much bother, 2 or 4 hours on each, done on the first attempt. Hindsight: 3 mm upper strips are too weak the but 5 mm or so should do fine. Also, place them an inch or so above the tyre. I went for ~15 mm and now I cannot mount a tyre slightly larger than the one I measured with. Update: the upper one does all the flapping, but the bottom (rear) one breaks at the weld from torsional loads.
