Cp24 does have its place but you wont find it by looking in the book

If you look on the base rails where the front bottom wishbone brackets go that should make a bit more sense

Thanks VMAX, still not 100% sure but no doubt it will come clear.

I have got a quote back and I want to know if you guys think its ok, basically for all Chassis plates for MX5 with 5mm CP16, All Suspension and shock brackets, all pedal box plates, all wing stay parts (upped to 5mm), roll bar front and rear plates

£120

What do you all recon?

Sounds about right to me.
Book lower front wishbone plates in 5mm cost me £9 each
Suspension brackets in 3mm CR4 £1 each, speaking of which how are you going to bend them?

I did think the price was about right but wanted to check with you guys. As for bending I have a couple of ideas but would do more research nearer the time, so if you have any advice it would be great.

My advice on the wishbone brackets is get them bent when you get them cut or buy them off talon if he has any left I messed loads up trying to bend them myself then I just bought a set off talon

The problem with bending the suspension brackets especially the dampers is the faces are quite tight for even for most sheet shop tooling set ups. You need to make a U channel former and press them in to it with about five ton of force. I currently have two sets in stock listed on Ebay for £50.

Thanks for the advice VMAX, I am getting them cut anyway and will have a go at bending them, hopefully find some useful help, if not and I balls them all up I will use them for bin art and buy some ready made.
