Martin,
Looking good mate. We are not a million miles apart when it comes to progress. I really must get into the garage and start welding the 3GE chassis plates on, arm is a little tight today. Now, am I missing something, but there is one you prepared earlier in the background! |

Evening Martin,
I know exactly what you mean as I have just welded the rear suspension frame on myself. Rather than try and explain in words I will take a picture tomorrow after I have picked up my donor. It is not fully welded yet so you can still see what gap there is. Suffice to say the top of RS4 and 5 are level with the top of the back corner of SB3 and there is a small, 1or 2mm, gap between the bottom of SB3 and RS7 and 7a. CP2 is flush with and runs in line with, the seat back. There I went and explained it I will still take a picture for you tomorrow. |
OK I decided to do it this evening, I had to use a torch to stop the flash on my wife’s compact coming on, I should really get the DSLR out but it’s getting late. I hope you can see what I did.
[IMG] ![]() My intention is to weld the gap up just so it dosn't become a water trap. Cheers Ginge |
