as others have stated, each to their own, i can see that both options have their own merits, it all depends on a builders timescale, ability , or as Enoch has mentioned offsetting the costs of the kit against possibly needing to purchase extra equipment to cut the steel.

thanks guys for all the replies and support. the build would officially start this weekend. gonna get a quote for steel today

Andy,

We could come to some arrangement I mean I have something you would like and you defiantly have lots of things I want!

I think I am right in thinking Ash would only be interested if I kept hold of the saw until he has built his new workshop, I can’t wait that long
