Handy,

Are your brakes servo assisted? if you removed the servo you will have to push harder to activate the switch!

Wifey just rang, "I can't move my car & the handbrake is off, what do I do?"

Me, "Go backwards"

Wifey, "sorted"

No, my brakes no longer have the servo attached, I think i,ll attach a mechanical switch as i,d like the brake lights to come on as soon I touch the pedal :cool:

I,m soooooooooo glad my Mrs doesn,t drive :D

As others have said there may be a little air trapped in the switch, mine is on a hyraulic switch and they come on almost instantly when you press the pedal.
