Its been done, went to NEC few years back and saw DAX Rush with helicopter in it, got pics somewhere looked brill see if I can sort them out and post.

me again, should be heli copter engine, that would be something if you got the whole lot in.

Type 9's dont take a lot of SHP (shaft horse power) :p

I had a V6 type 9, it had destroyed it's input shaft gears.

It had previously graphed 256BHP though :p

Personaly I would not expect one to last any time at all over 200bhp , and only then on a turbo engine where torque builds higher up the range.
