It's looking good Andy! Looks much different to when I saw it on Sat.
A quick question with regards to the rear wishbones as I am currently welding my suspension brackets into place. On page 73 of the book it mentions that the cross brace of the lower rear wishbone should point from the outside rear to the inside front on either side of the car. I was looking at your pictures for inspiration as to what this should look like. And from my interpretation it looks as if your wishbones are on upside down? Please correct me if I am wrong, as I am trying to get it clear in my mind while I go about putting everything together. |
Right ive managed to confuse myself even more. My engineering sense tells me that the wishbones should be installed the way you have them as the force will mainly be acting to push the wheels rearwards, this agrees with the cad model in the front of the book.
However the picture on page 74 makes things even more confusing as it is the other way (the way I've interpreted the description). |
Ahhh the rear wishbone debate....
