Here is my baby just finished after 3 years graft running a brand new 4.6 v8 out of range rover p38 on mega squirt. Rolling roaded at with 225 bhp and 276 ftlb at wheels. Was tempted to use a v8 in my roadster as I've cut my teeth on them but would have to be a lower spec one as I fear to much power could twist the frame.

Welcome to the forum Sebby :)
If you upgrade the chassis tubes to 2mm wall thickness, the chassis will be more than capable of handling the power of a V8 ;) I believe the standard chassis has been designed to handle that sort of power anyways :) |
Welcome to the forum, Sebby! The facebook link does not work. Is the photo public?

The chassis will need more bracing around the engine bay to cope with a V8 and going up to 14swg for major tubes would be a good idea. A good trick is to use offcuts of rhs in the corners where all tubes meet on the floor section...if that makes sense?
