I used to race an R1 engine bike, it was chuffing mental....145 kgs in total...it was a missile on wheels :cool:

Flyerncle, is that the two piece prop with the rubber insert to replace the cush drive. AB performance sell em from Bailey Morris, but they're about 360 quid!!!
Was warned off fitting a normal prop due to the backlash between gearbox and diff.

Would the iva man accept this as a reversing mechanism, there isnt actually a mention in the iva manual which prohibits a hatch in the floor is there?:p

Im was tempted to go the starter motor and flywheel route, but i think in the long run a reverse box may be less prone to problems. I like the idea of being able to go backwards in top gear aswell. Does MK still do a reverse box and are there any other alternatives?

Could be wrong but think you will needs all sorts of safety switches etc to stop that sort of thing ie 130 mph in reverse.
