yes its for mt75

The guy's from kitspares helped me out with this problem. They've sold me a small bearing (£13) that i have to put on the gearbox shaft.
Then i have to change the position of the pivot of the clutch release arm.

This is what they told me, i still have to do this modification.
But they've told me that they always do this mod on their Zero's.

Have a look at my photo's (MT75 MOD). I took these on Kitspares stand at the Detling carshow. I will take a picture tomorrow from the bearing.

Wim

I don't understand how that works do you mean the spigot bearing?

Wgroove 5th August 2011 09:24 PM

Yes, the spigot bearing.

Is it just a treaded bar and nut?

Wgroove 6th August 2011 08:27 AM

Yes, a threaded bar and nut. You have to make the top of the bar round, with a grinder. This will be the new pivot of the clutch release arm. In this way you can adjust the position from the outside. The position has to come closer to the engine to avoid the clutch from slipping.
Forgive me my bad english, i hope you understand what i mean. :o

Wim

Nice one Wim

I quite like the idea of an adjustable fulcrum pin for the release bearing arm :)

That would suit the Type9 & the MT75 gearboxes.

Why did I not think of that when I went to hell & back looking for the correct release bearing :o :o
