The choice of engine using a Sierra donor is a fairly simple one these days - what ever you can get your hands on.....
Sierra's are getting thin on the ground and their prices seem to reflect this.
Similar to an MX5 pricewise.
Use whatever you can get as there are all sorts of engine possibilities which ever route you go.

Well i went for a pinto, twin 45 webbers and like you didnt want to have to cut the bonnet so I purchased the Europa spares low profile inlet manifold, expensive but nice bling with the webbers
