I think you've done really well there.

Good luck and enjoy the build :)

Nice one looks like a massive jump forward

Nice one jps, that's a great starting point!
Start a build thread and let us know how you get on!

Location updated - hopefully there's someone close by who can throw some practical advice my way when the time comes!

Build thread will follow soon - first tasks are to sort out the garage and build some shelving so that i can put things neatly away and work out what the hell i've actually bought!

It's going to be a long journey - plenty of skills i need to pick up on the way - but i've already made my second car-related purchase, a big tub of Swarfega!!!

I've been trying to sort my garage out for weeks!
I've found that it requires sorting other things first, such as boarding out the loft to move the unpacked boxes from the house move into and getting a shed for the lawn mower, etc!

Almost there now though. :D

Get a big box of disposable gloves too - your hands will thank you for it!
Swarfega's good for when you forget to wear them, or when they inevitably tear and you end up with one black finger though!

Good to see another East Angle on the forum.
Always seems a bit Northern Monkey biassed here, but there's a small handful of us Southern shandy drinkers dotted about!

Why do you need to wear latex gloves having bleeding knuckles and black hands is a sign that you have been busy doing some thing productive or at least trying to undo a bolt or two.
There's no need for stereotypical name calling on this forum you bunch of soft handed pen pushers :D

Gotta agree with talon black hands with skin removed does make you feel you have been busy

Also the best thing I have found to get your hands clean again is the washing up liquid with laundry powder mixed in does a much better job but really stings the torn flesh
