I've got a build table going free if you're interested. Needs a 8x4 piece of chipboard (shelves now;) ) for the top but everything else is there.

This is what I did there. I just didn't like the idea of butt welds.

More or less what I meant but use the angley offcutts of rhs to do the same without adding nasty weight..:)

Loads of other things that can be done using tube rather than thick lumps of plate and look good at same time as being a lot stronger...:)

I know what you mean fabby it's a very good idea. Talking of weight has anybody thought of using ali for the chassis?
I won't make this weekend spud got a family wedding but following weekend is good.
