Chris,
Does that mean we have to wait til the book is out before making one then?

HandyAndy 23rd January 2009 01:22 PM

ok thanks John & Chris, the sooner the better would be nice:D
at least i can now get things prepared & ready for the time the book comes out.
a question Chris, without asking for any "top secret" details do you think putting the vfr v4 motor in won,t cause any problems in the new chassis layout? as you,ve mentioned the prototype has an inline 4.

thanks
andy

Hatching a cunning plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.....;)

Don't build one yet, the details have changed.

A new CD winging it's way to you very soon!

Cheers

Chris ;)

Actually, if you build one with Mark's alternative nose we could have two for the photo shoot, mmmmm nice

If you can give me a rough idea of the overall size and orientation of the engine I'll measure the chassis for you.

Cheers

Chris :)

Solution ? slim down Roadster to same width as front frame, move seat back rails forward, shove feet through gearbox/engine hole fit pedals at front of course, make diff housing a little bit bigger and slide 20v turbo Audi/VW engine and box in behind the seat, mid engine and GLS ( go like stink )
Problem solved !

Flak awaited...
