Quite happy to offer welding assistance to any forum member who is local or willing to travel ;)

Thanks for the offer Ronnie it's much appreciated but i've managed to pursuade a couple of the engineers at work to give me a few pointers.
however if that dosen't work you might see me in Penzance soon.:)

Cheers Steve

Hi Ben,

Welcome to the forum, :)

You seem to be doing some great research on your proposed build,

Yes, I can ship to Australia, not sure of shipping costs ( can get a confirmed costing for you on monday ).

Saturn Sports Cars are currently developing the chassis to accept the MX 5 running gear, & the flat pack chassis kits will be available to accept the MX5 as its donor.

cheers

I've had a few enquiries from Oz and Fedex is the only company that will touch it £240 was there best price.

Thanks for your input,

That seems mad to me, it will cost you more to have a few bits of tube shipped in than it would to have someone near you in Oz cut it...surely easier all round and cheaper if supplied drawings?
